We are passionate about great quality British ingredients and incredible flavours at The Village Fish and Chips Beckenham. Our ingredients are sustainable and traceable wherever possible.
OUR SOURCES AND SUPPLIERS
We believe that quality ingredients are essential for the very best fish and chips, so we only use British potatoes and our fresh fish is supplied daily. Our fresh ingredients and traditional preparation methods allow us to give our customers an exceptional meal every time.
Our menu is traceable, sustainable and we offer a wide range of dishes including fish, chips, vegetarian options, seafood, pies and rotisserie chicken. At The Village Fish and Chips, our fish is caught in a responsible and sustainable way. We use the latest technology, only cook to order to ensure your meal is fresh and delicious.
We use high quality groundnut oil and batter here in Beckenham. We also have a range of soft drinks and side dishes to go with your meal. For our younger customers, we also have a smaller sized children's menu.
OUR METHODS
We are proud of our traditional preparation and cooking methods, which have been perfected over time, allowing us to offer crispy, golden batter and delicious chips to customers across Beckenham.
We don't use egg in our batter and we also replace our oil every day so our customers get a great, fresh-tasting meal every time.
All our fish and chips are fried in separate ovens using groundnut oil.
We are a proud local business, based in Beckenham and we offer a loyalty card - buy 5 fish and chip meals and get the 6th free.
Most of our packaging is paper based and recyclable and we are committed to reducing waste. We are a small, friendly team and we are more than happy to answer any other questions about our menu, just give us a call!

"Fish & chips takeaway tonight - so very tasty! The fish cooked to perfection, flakes falling apart, with batter still lovely and crisp. Chips excellent. But we have to talk portion control. That was a small one? Sadly no young person on the premises to polish everything off. I'll ask for the pensioners' size next time."

""I was out for a walk during lockdown and walked past The Village Fish & Chips, tempted I went inside and ordered Haddock & Chips to take away, as the restaurant side was not open due to COVID restrictions. The fish was cooked fresh and to perfection after a short wait which was worthwhile, and the staff were so nice.
I walked home and enjoyed this so much, only a few minutes away, I will definitely be using this again and hopefully eat inside next time. So nice to have a decent Fish & Chip restaurant near to home. "
